Parents Information

As a parent you might be asking yourself "why a studio school?" or "how is Digitech different to other schools and colleges?"

Studio Schools are a state funded mainstream educational provision specifically for pupils aged 14-19 years old. Studio schools adopt a bold approach to learning which includes teaching through enterprise projects and real work. Digitech Studio School delivers a specialised curriculum to allow students to progress into digital and creative industries, alongside a strong grounding in core subjects such as English, Maths and Science.

Digitech is located in a state-of-the-art building which opened in 2015 with fantastic industry standard facilities. It is small by design with only 90 students in each year group allowing us to provide a more personalised learning experience.

If your child is creative and digitally inspired and passionate about a future in the digital or creative industries, then joining Digitech at 14 is the perfect opportunity to start building the skills, knowledge and experience so they can really succeed in a technical, digital or creative career.

Our courses in year 10 and 11 offer a broad variety of technical and creative subjects including Digital Media, E-SportsPhotography, and Games Design as well as many more.

In year 12 and 13 students get the opportunity to study some amazing courses at Digitech or in partnership with Boomsatsuma, The Robins Foundation, and The Bristol School of Acting. These include courses such as Creative Digital Media, E-sports, Multidisciplinary Arts, Professional acting and Fim and Television.
