Digitech Studio School has long held a strong belief in supporting/advocating Mental Health. This has led to us receiving and maintaining our South Gloucestershire Mental Wellbeing Award status.
Mental Health plays a key narrative in our school ethos and is something we are constantly seeking to improve upon. For example, our recent introduction of a peer mentoring programme where students receive training to offer emotional support to their peers and become Mental Health advocates for the school.
Support within in Digitech
If your child needs support with their mental health, please encourage them to reach out. All staff are able and willing to talk/listen to students.
In particular we recommend:
- Speaking to their tutor
- Speaking to a member of the Hub Team
- Putting their name in the letterbox outside the safeguarding office
- Emailing the Designated Safeguarding Lead
