Course Overview
This Year 10 compulsory qualification will help students develop essential skills that can enhance their knowledge and development of skills across Art subjects and Enterprise subjects.
What Will I Learn?
All students will complete one mandatory module in Interactive Digital Media Products, and then diversify their choices between two modules from a list of four which will strengthen their curriculum skills. Modules are TBC but are likely to include Digital Moving Image Production (short films), Music Video Production, Digital Graphics and Graphic Design, Photography and/or Digital Art.
As the course will be taken by all Year 10 students, we expect opportunities for creative collaboration as well as individually produced outcomes.

Students will study 1 core unit (CDM101: Interactive Digital Media Production Techniques) and 2 optional units, which will be selected in the middle of Year 10.
The qualification is tested through three pieces of coursework that are set and marked by the teacher. The coursework includes research, practical tasks and evaluative skills.
Career Progression
The aim is to provide a flexible, vocationally relevant suite of creative digital media qualifications, which will equip learners with the skills to develop realistic employment opportunities in the creative digital media industry or to progress to higher education.
