The music course is designed to support well rounded musicians, with a focus on developing an understanding of the music industry.
What Will I Learn?
Whether you want to gain employment in the music industry or go into higher education, a Creative Music Industry qualification will give you the professional knowledge and skills needed for a career in music. Here at Digitech our Level 2 course for Years 10 and 11 follows the Production pathway meaning the core unit is based on music production, with one additional unit in organising a live music event. These are purely coursework/portfolio based units meaning there are no exams for this qualification. This qualification is equivalent to one GCSE.

RSL Level 2 certificate in Creative Music Industry
Students will study 1 core unit and 2 optional units. These two units are, music sequencing and production and organising a music event
Career Progression
This course will prepare students for our level 3 music course, courses at other colleges (such as Access Creative and BIMM), and will prepare students for careers in the music industry.
